Current Office: Councilmember Roy Moore


Councilmember Roy Moore was elected to the Brea City Council in November 1998 and re-elected in 2002, 2006 and 2010. He has served as Mayor in 2001, 2006 and 2011. Prior to being elected to the City Council, he served as Chairman of the Cultural Arts Commission. 
Councilmember Moore is currently serving on the Orange County Sanitation District Board of Directors, Orange County Vector Control Board, Orange County Library Advisory Board, and League of California Cities' Advocacy Committee.

His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of California, Los Angeles; a Master of Science in Administrative Management from California State University, Los Angeles; and a LLB in Law from La Salle Extension University. 
Councilmember Moore is currently retired. His professional career includes more than 30 years of experience in Finance, including 27 years in various financial management positions at Rockwell International, and five years as Chief Financial Executive for Reuland Electric Company.

He and his wife, Deanna, have lived in Brea for 50 years. They have one son, Jeffrey, one daughter, Tamara, and five grandchildren.
